Former President Goodluck Jonathan is set to be screened on Tuesday by the Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party as the party’s lone presidential aspirant ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to reports by ThisDay, the screening committee includes former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, former Plateau State governor Jonah Jang, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Tom Ikimi, among others.
The development is seen as part of ongoing political preparations within the PDP ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
