I saw this video of a man playing video games with his little son. Based on my judgement, the boy isn't older than 9 but his father wouldn't let him win and he won't let him drop the pad either.
The boy was crying because he is young and it sucks to l0se. It felt like t0rturē!
As a vvoman I was touched watching him cry, I wished his father could just let him win at least once so he feels good.
I felt for him and I'm sure that's exactly how his mother would feel too. She would go soft on him so he feels good. But sadly, that's not how the world works.
His father understands that the world won't go easy on him so he is preparing him. He is teaching him reality, he is teaching him that it's ok to cry when life beats you but don't give up, keep going and that's how you win. He is preparing him against bullies in school, vvicked bosses in the corporate world and others who would try to take what belongs to him.
He is teaching him LIFE!
I believe that someday the boy will master the game and he will win some and l0se some, till he ties with his father and maybe he might end up winning his father too.
In that moment, the son would appreciate the work he put in, to become a winner.
What a boy needs inorder to become a man isn't so fluffy and smooth. Fathers shape their sons through challenges and hard truths.
A father's love towards his son seems hard in the moment but trust me that's the strongest foundation a son needs to become a man. That's why only a solid man can raise a boy into a man.
