Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging citizens to set aside criticisms linking the president to the country’s insecurity and economic hardship.
In his remarks, Mbaka appealed for unity and cautioned against what he described as attempts to unfairly drag the president into the security challenges in the country.
He also shifted attention to the Oyo State Government, suggesting that Governor Seyi Makinde should be held accountable for the recent kidnapping of school children in the state not Tinubu.
According to him, the current political climate mirrors past events that led to the removal of former President Goodluck Jonathan, alleging that similar tactics are being used to discredit Good work of President Tinubu through public sentiment around insecurity.
Mbaka further insisted that efforts to remove Tinubu from office would not succeed, expressing confidence that the president will complete his constitutionally allowed eight-year tenure.
“Let us assume they remove him, who will they replace him with?” he asked rhetorically.
