Activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has taken drastic action against Dangote trucks, stopping one on the highway for carrying passengers (known as "aboki" in local parlance) and having an unlicensed driver.
VDM ensured the welfare of the passengers before parking the truck safely by the roadside to prevent potential accidents.VDM emphasized the need for Dangote to employ only licensed and qualified drivers. He stressed that no amount of wealth or influence should compromise the safety of innocent lives. The trucks will be allowed to pass through at 9 pm when people are back in their homes, reducing the risk of accidents.
VDM's actions come as a bold statement, especially considering Dangote's significant presence in Edo State, where the conglomerate generates a substantial portion of its revenue.
As one of Africa's wealthiest individuals, Dangote's business operations have a considerable impact on the region. VDM's actions highlight the need for accountability and responsible business practices, particularly when it comes to road safety.
