Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima, used to work at Zenith Bank many years ago.
He left the bank in 2007 to join politics and resigned as a General Manager of the bank.
Over the years, he has worn many hats in our political arena since then.
As a former commissioner, governor, senator, and now Vice President, through it all, he has remained faithful to the bank that gave him a wing to fly, and without failing to mention how Zenith Bank changed his life, as he calls himself “Jim Ovia Boy”.
Yesterday, his former boss and the founder of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, had to leave his seat to receive him when he arrived at Eko Hotel last night.
The only guest that had the honor of being personally received by the Chairman on arrival, by virtue of his office.
