Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has appealed to the public, particularly fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to give Nollywood actress Regina Daniels breathing space to recover.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Nwoko said his appeal is not just for Regina, but also for their kids who deserve to see their mother supported and loved.
According to him, Regina has been through a lot more than many people realize, and the video she shared on her birthday only gave a glimpse of the health challenges she has been dealing with.
“What she needs most right now is love, support and the opportunity to recover. This is not a time to judge or vilify her. It is a time to show compassion,” he said.
Nwoko expressed concern over the circulation of false reports about the actress, including fabricated stories about her personal circumstances, describing them as deeply distressing and unhelpful to her recovery.
He warned that his team is documenting all false publications and those responsible will be held accountable through legal channels.
“I will not tolerate the deliberate spread of false information about Regina. There is a limit to what should be tolerated, and that limit has been reached,” he stated.
He urged genuine fans to help discourage the spread of hurtful content instead of amplifying it.
