In an interview with BBC Igbo, the Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election, Mr Peter Obi, has outlined his agenda for Nigeria.
Obi said if elected, his government will rebuild the healthcare sector, prioritise love and unity among Nigerians irrespective of state of origin, tackle insecurity to enable farmers return to their farms, and deal decisively with criminality in government.
He added that funds recovered from corruption will be channeled into creating employment opportunities for the youth.
“I will build our healthcare sector and make it better. I will make sure I prioritise love and unity among every Nigerian, regardless of the state they come from. I will make sure I tackle insecurity so that our farmers can return to their farms.
I will also deal with criminality in government and use the money recovered to create employment opportunities for our youths,” Obi said.
