A man from Ebonyi State has criticised David Umahi, questioning his comments on Igbo identity and challenging him to account for his achievements as former governor of Ebonyi State. He also praised Peter Obi and declared his support for his 2027 presidential ambition.
Fallacy of fact from a confused man
I don't know in this era, some people think they are smart, but they have failed to understand that their smartness looks foolish in the face wise ones.
Honestly , it is funny how Someone says he's the lion of the east and he's they don't believe in Igbo. You are even saying you are not Igbo, original Igbo by yourself.
And funny enough, what a contradiction. You are saying some other Igbo states look at you as a third class citizen of Igbo. While you are affirming that by saying you are not pure Igbo and you are accepting the fact that you are second class or third class citizen and you don't want anything to do with hem, nominal igbos.
You are discriminating the way they are doing. So how then are you the lion of the east? Or you wanted to say you are a lion of Ebonyi.
Anyway, lucky you because it seems you were lucky enough to instal your puppets.
Otherwise, you wouldn't even dare to say anything, because if you tell yourself the truth, even the senatorial election you claimed you won.
you didn't win your own polling unit. You change the results from top, switch the scores. Anyway, we understand all those things.
And you were in Ebonyi as governor ,Personally, my community is behind Presco school Campus in Ebony State. Those who know Presco very well, my community is very close, just a few poles away from town.
You can trek to town,, people trek there from main town. It's just the closest village to the town. But there's no acces road and there has never been one.
We've not benefited anything from you as our own governor. How dare you ask another governor of another State what he has done to Ebonyans. Or if he has appointed Ebonyian as a member of this cabinet.
I ask, was he a governor of Ebonyi State? Was he supposed to leave his state where he governed to come to Ebonyi to pick his appointees to make you happy, to make you believe that you are Igbo?
What a shame. You that ruled over Ebonyi, governed Ebony, what have you done to the people of Ebonyi State? Except you just indiscriminately built a flyover in a highway, a highway that belonged to federal government where you collect the refunds back to God knows where, the coffer where it' enters.
Meanwhile , today, what people held as a standard has been patched and reconstructed and been repaired more than three times, less than four years.
In fact, the roads, one side of the dual roads to Nkalagu, where you built less than six months before you left office, was repaired immediately. You left office more than three times until the current governor found out that the structural fault cannot be repaired. He has to scrape it and start afresh.
Again, don't forget that was the road you promised 50 years, which meant you promised years of lasting, but it didn't even last months. Are you sure you did not defraud Ebonyans with that claims?
However,, I know a governor who left the state and never asked for anything,: no land. He didn't force people to give up their lands.
He did not inherit any land,. unlike some people whose land is everywhere in their state not because they buy them. God knows how they acquire them, especially in centenary city.
Anyway, let's not go there.
That's too far. Somebody who has made his way in this life without political support, and you're comparing yourself to him, you are just but a greedy politician. We see how people are running around making their sons chairman of the local government and appointees and giving their governor the list of those he appoints in another government's administration.
Well, we see all that, and I bet if you know how to increase your pension or what as a former governor you will do it. But a man you are mocking rejected all those things in a platter of gold, he rejected them. And knowing the fact that his son has nothing to do with Nigerian politics, that's to show how he is able to even maintain law and order in his family.
And not only that, he is organised, he even manages his family without interference of public influence on his home.
So he trained his sons to be independent. That's a fulfilled father, unlike some people who know that the only way their son can succeed is to go into public office and continue looting like them and they are shamelessly boasting with public funds. Well, we can see them. They are there. We're all seeing them.
Well, your jealousy cannot stop people from voting the right man, which is his excellency, Peter Obi, is going to be the president of Nigeria. Mark it in your diary if you so wish.
I come in peace.
A man from Ebonyi State, response to Umahi.
