Minister of Works David Umahi has urged Ebonyi people not to vote for Peter Obi, challenging him to name one Ebonyi indigene he appointed while serving as Anambra governor.
Umahi, in a video currently trending online, said it is only when it comes to votes that they say Ebonyi people are one with other South East states.
"It’s only when it comes to votes that they say we Ebonyi people are one with other states in the South East. But when it comes to insúlt!ng us, they !nsúlt us.
Because we say we won’t vote for him and we tell our people not to vote for him, you’re insúlt!ng us?
We’re not second-class citizens in Igbo land. We have a right to decide what will be good for our people," he said.
