The pastor revealed that he has remained faithful to his wife throughout their 39-year relationship, despite claims that every married man has a side chick.
“I’ve been married for 36 years; I’ve never done another woman. Not just 36 years. Even in the 39 years I’ve known my wife, I’ve never done another woman.
I was in a meeting a few years ago, and we were talking about having a dinner and bringing our wives. Some people said, ‘Please, make sure you bring only your wives.’
I was sh0cked, so I asked a question. I said, ‘So who would you bring to a husband-and-wife dinner if not your wife?’
Somebody must have looked at me and had pity on me and said, ‘P00r pastor.’ And the boy said, ‘I’m telling you here, there’s nobody here that does not have a side chick.’
I said, ‘I don’t.’ And everybody looked at me. Honestly, I’m telling you the truth. I think God has shielded me for too many years from this kind of f00lishness.
I must agree with you that not all of them are Christians, but there are some of them who profess Christianity.
And everybody kept quiet, and I told them, ‘Please, when you are making this kind of assumption, always count me out of it. I’ve never...’”
