Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has disclosed that his monthly salary is ₦503,000, an amount he said is lower than what Permanent Secretaries and the Head of Service earn in the state.
The governor made the disclosure on Monday at the 2026 Public Service Week Dinner and Awards Night held in Asaba.
He said Permanent Secretaries in Delta earn approximately ₦900,000 monthly, while the Head of Service takes home ₦1 million.
“Head of Service is one million. It’s clear. So, you know some of them don’t want their husbands to know how much they are receiving,” Oborevwori said.
