Nigerian comedian , Edo Pikin has addressed Seun Kuti’s walkout from Peller and Jarvis’ wedding yesterday, after the singer felt the MC insulted his father, Fela Kuti.
According to him, three MCs hosted the event and at no point was Wizkid compared to Baba Fela.
He explained that the comparisons at the wedding were only between Wizkid and Davido, and Ronaldo and Messi. He also said he only asked the DJ to lower the volume and avoid acting like people who claim they are bigger than Baba Fela.
EdoPikin said Seun didn’t wait to hear him out and walked away angrily, missing the rice, pounded yam and other food served at the wedding.
He added that people seem to be drawn to negativity and bad news, and urged Seun to calm down and listen properly next time.
