"I'm going to give you five reasons why I don't want to have children. Two of them are self!sh, three of them are selfless. Let's go.
Number one, I don't want to share my money. When you have a child, you're locked into a financial commitment for at least 20 years, and that does not sound like a good time. Count me out.
Number two, I might not like the child. I don't have the capacity for unconditional love, and I can tell you that for free. I don't want someone I don't like living in my house, so I'm just not going to r!sk it with that one.
Number three, let's go into the selfless ones now. When you have a child, there is no guarantee that you're going to remain alive long enough to finish your project as a father.
There is no guarantee that you're going to remain healthy enough or financially able to look after those children. And guess who s¥ff£rs? The children.
Number four, having a child would mean that I think this is a nice place. Newsflash, I don't. The conditions for survival on this planet are absolutely unacceptable to me.
You might be okay with your children going through the h¥m!li@tion r!tu@l of being working class. I'm not, and so I'm going to spare them.
Now finally, I don't want to do that to a person's body. Pregnancies are absolutely d@ng£r©us. For a lot of women, getting pregnant is the closest they'll ever come to d¥!ng, and my egocentric desire to replicate myself is not sufficient reason for me to put anyone in that kind of d@ng£r.
So you can see, any angle you want to come at it, self!sh or selfless, I simply cannot justify bringing children into this world."
