A viral discussion about women renting wedding gowns as an act of faith while praying for marriage has ignited conversations on societal expectations, singleness, and the growing pressure to marry in Nigeria.
What would make Nigerian vvomen to hire wedding gowns that cost at least 200k as exercise of Faith for the koromoto men they are asking God for?
One of my friends got married last year and I realised that the cheapest cost of renting a good wedding dress is between 250k and 350k.
So, I am wondering what would motivate Nigerien vvomen to pull their 200k to rent a wedding gown as a leap of faith for the koromoto men and $©️ūm$ they're believing God for?
Not the actual wedding o, they are not even sure that any husband will come after spending the money. And you know how vvomen can be tight with money but they spent it. That tells us that it's getting difficult for them and they're desperate.
If you check, none of them are anywhere below 35 years. They have run to church after trading away their youths in exchange for front seats of cars, mirror selfies and food. If they were good vvomen, they won't still be $ingle till that age. Good vvomen do not last in the market.
Mind you! Those videos were not meant to make it to the Internet. It's not like they dressed like their miracles with the intentions of seeing themselves on the Internet.
They were just doing their thing in real life after they have come online to r@nt, they don't need men, marriage is not an achievement, marriage benefit men, I am $ingle by choice, $ingle vvomen are the happiest, koromoto men, blah blah blah!
This is just the beginning, in the next 5 to 7 years, Nigerian vvomen will march and protest for lack of men. They will come together with their money, begging men to consider them. They will beg married vvomen to allow them share their husbands with them, it will happen!
Now, they're still doing it coded, soon they will march to the streets.
Umu Anya mmiri must protest!
