Before Rita Dominic got married, she already had the life that a lot of feminists project as the perfect replacement for men.
"I can pay my own bills, I have my own money, what do I need a man for?"
Rita is successful, she has her career, money, influence, well connected, perfect skin, friends, freedom, independence etc.
She went on girls' trips, spent time on herself, travelled to different places, had brunch with the girls.... literally did it all, over and over.
But there came a time in her life that she grew tired of the sushi and pineapple/shrimp rice. She stopped lying to herself that girls' trips and Piña colada would numb her inner desires for a man's love and companionship.
She got married at 46 and truly, this is the happiest I've seen her.
What's even awkward was that some vvomen were not happy with her partner of choice. They claimed he was not the best choice for her because he is 10 years older than her.
Do vvomen actually like seeing happy vvomen?
How old were they expecting a man who marries a 46-yr-old vvoman to be?
They were m@d because they expected her to end up with cats but she left them behind.
VVomen will preach; just make your own, focus on yourself, you don't need a man, as long as you have money, you're good.
Rita had that and more but at the end still chose a man.
Getting married didn't stop her from travelling or enjoying her life, the difference is that she has a life partner to create those memories with... that is fulfillment!
Umu Anya mmiri do not and will not have what they’re even thinking they would replace men with.
