Awka, Anambra State — The Anambra State Government has reportedly arraigned Prophet Dr. Chukwukadibia Francis, popularly known as “De Dancing Prophet,” before a court over allegations related to his religious activities.
Prophet Francis is the General Overseer of Land of Testimony Adoration Ministry, which operates branches in Obosi, Anambra State, and Udi, Enugu State.
According to reports, the cleric is among several religious leaders facing prosecution by the state government as part of an ongoing crackdown on alleged fraudulent practices within religious organizations.
Authorities allege that Prophet Francis sold “anointed” water and other spiritual items to members for financial gain. He is also accused of allegedly staging miracles and issuing false prophecies to mislead followers.
The state government has not yet disclosed the full details of the charges in court, while the allegations remain subject to judicial determination.
As of the time of filing this report, Prophet Francis and his legal representatives had not publicly responded to the accusations. The court proceedings are expected to continue as the case progresses.
Under Nigerian law, all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a competent court of law.
