Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has once again stirred conversations online after revealing that he is willing to pay ₦5 million to any lady ready to have a child for him.
Speaking in a recent statement, the outspoken entertainer explained that he has no interest in marriage but desires to have a child. According to him, he previously offered ₦3 million two years ago but was dissatisfied with the kind of women he met at the time.
“I was offering ₦3 million two years ago, but I didn’t like the age range of the people I met. Now, I’m willing to pay ₦5 million to any lady willing to have a child for me,” he said.
Speed Darlington further stated that the woman would still have access to the child whenever she wishes, despite his decision not to get married.
The singer added that he prefers a lady between the ages of 20 and 24, someone who is financially struggling and not from a wealthy background.
His comments have since triggered mixed reactions across social media, with many Nigerians debating the morality, legality, and implications of such an arrangement.
