Nigerian businessman and socialite Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has dismissed widespread claims suggesting that he resigned from the City Boys Movement.
Reacting to the speculation, Obi Cubana clarified that deleting a few posts from his Instagram page should not be interpreted as a withdrawal of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, his loyalty to the movement and support for Tinubu remain intact despite online rumors circulating across social media platforms.
The nightlife entrepreneur further revealed that he will soon resume political mobilization activities in support of Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He stated that the goal is to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu in the 2027 polls, where he is expected to face opposition figures including Peter Obi.
The development has continued to generate mixed reactions online, especially among supporters of both political camps.
