Flavour Should Have Done More
Considering the huge performance fee paid, I think that Flavour could have done a bit more marketing for the venue where his concert was held in Awka, Anambra State on Saturday, 28th June 2025.
The pictures he shared on his Facebook page did not show the venue. It could have been a concert held anywhere.A one-line statement announcing Solution Fun City as an exciting destination wouldn’t have hurt him. He is from Anambra State and should do more for his people. He has always shown a tendency to operate as a harvester in the state. He has to sow too.
During the Governor Obiano years, he was a regular artist and earned a lot of money performing at state events. This has continued with the Soludo government.
He should sell his state a little bit more. This his statement “Anambra daalu nu. Thank you for having me” is not enough for me. He could as well be talking about some other state in Nigeria.
The government people who brought him should have ensured that this happened. He did not even post a picture of the Governor at the concert. In an election year, this is not good enough as far as election campaigns go, as the concert also had an election campaign undertone. The event was not well leveraged.
