OSSA-P's On Community Engagement Collaborates With Ministry Of Housing And Urban Development On Renewed Hope Low-Income Housing Estates, Others

The Office of SSA-P’s on Community Engagement led by Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Nweze and others were on collaborative visit to Ministry of Housing and Urban Development
In a statement signed by Barr. Mrs Chioma Nweze, the Senior Special Assistant to President on Community Engagement Southeast zone on Thursday, 6th June 2024, at Presidential Villa Abuja
According to Nweze, noted that the OSSA-P's on Community Engagement had a productive meeting with the officials of the Ministry, which they discussed with the 2 Ministers, Permanent Secretary and the Management Staff on how they can collaborate and disseminate on how People at the Local Level can harness the Renewed Hope City Initiative of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Nweze also stated the other areas discussed are on the Rehabilitation of Slums where the Ministry is determined to develop dilapidated Houses, Schools, Network Roads and Provision of Solar Power to Illuminate the Slums.
"We are pleased to announce that these Projects are already at an advanced stage according to the Minister @dangiwa and would be delivered timely.
SSA-P's further explained areas of their Collaboration thus:
"To collaborate on creating awareness on the Low-Income-Earners on 1,2, & 3 Bedrooms Renewed Hope Homes that can be assessed through Outright Purchase or Installation payments or Renting.
" Need for State Governments on the significance of Provision of Lands for the Housing Estates.
"The Need for Compensation by State Governments to Settle Compensations for the smooth take-off in Various States across the Six Geopolitical Zones.
"To Have a Feedback on Subscriptions and Data Generation on the Subscribers.
"To educate the Communities on the Project of “Slums Rehabilitation” in Various Communities .
"Meanwhile, the Government Of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is determined to make more provisions towards addressing these deficits in the Housing Sector." Nweze disclosed.
