Dr Elechi Oko Elechi an Abuja based business man/Enterprenuer has Praised the Governor of Ebonyi state, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his poverty alleviation programs
Elechi Oko who was the 2019 governorship candidate of the Action People's Party (APP) in Ebonyi state said with commencement of the cash empowerment of five hundred (500) Ebonyians by the state government which was targeted in taking them out from street hawking and other minor odd jobs is a step in a right direction.
He stressed that with this empowerment and other programs of the government in areas of human capital development, the state in no distance time will blossom into prosperity.
He called for a sustained effort saying those empowered needs to be monitored so that they can utilize the funds meaningfully.
The former Governorship hopeful revealed that with this number of persons coming into the Small scale enterprise sector of the state, the state will gain in her Internal generated revenue because according to him, the backbone of any economy is small and medium enterprise (SME)
The former governorship candidate encouraged every political stake holder in the state to rally around governor nwifuru and support him to achieve his blueprint on people's charter of needs opining that with his ongoing efforts to industrialize the state, his commitment in the health sector & employment of health workers, education, reticulation of abandoned Ezillo water treatment plant, Reviving of the pipe productive plant, payment of accumulated gratuities of retired civil servants of the state, investments being attracted to the state etc
All of these shows the governor is well prepared for the task of governance and he has the people's interest and welfare at heart.
