An Ebonyi-born indigene, 27 years old,Mr. Oge Ifeanyichukwu Onwe, who hails from Ugum, Umuogudu Oshia Ngbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State , sustained a severe injury from a gas plant fire accident
The boy was immediately admitted to the Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakalki for treatment but the complexity of his injury led to his transfer to Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu for surgical treatment.
Onwe recalled that he had spent over nine hundred thousand Naira (N900,000) at the Alex Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakalki, but his injury was getting worse, leading to his transfer to the Orthopaedic hospital in Enugu for surgery.
He, however, in his sick bed with heavy tears appealed for financial assistance from good-spirited individuals, groups and the government; noting that the 750 thousand Naira was demanded by the hospital as a part bill before the commencement of the surgery.
He explained that the accident occurred in 2021 at Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital, where he was searching for a green pasture immediately after his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Edo State in 2020 due to unemployment.
He added: "I'm also a graduate of Mass Communication at Ebonyi State University Abakaliki.
"Brothers and Sisters, the general public, government and good-spirited individuals, please come to my aid, because I'm under painful trauma now.
"Please, your intervention will mean a lot for my life. God Almighty will bless you more in Jesus' name, Amen. You can reach me through this bank account: 93046151997, STANBIC BANK, SIMON ODOH. For a phone call, please contact me on 08039249967."
