The Commissioner for budget, planning research and monitoring, Chinwe Okah.
has promised to make sure that Ebonyi Government will not make mistake in her budget process
While noting she will enhance optimum revenue generation for the state, and proffer solution to challenges militating against them.
According to Commissioner Okah , she said , her ministry do budget and budgetary of the state, and also plan ahead of all the programs and project of the state Government
Mrs Okah disclosed this to Newsmen during interactive session in her office at Cenitinary City Abakaliki, she said that the budget ministry is the ministry that handles all the programs, planning and budgeting, managing the programs of government resources
"It's the ministry that handles all the program and planning of government resources
"Whenever revenue comes, they are the one that will plan how income and expenditures will be manage by the Government."
Commissioner for Budget and planning also stressed that she will make sure that whatever that brings from federal government or revenue that has been generated in the state government will be well utilized
Adding, she will certified anyone that want to do a program in the state and
look into their program and plan to find out, if what will actually benefit the state Government and Ebonyi people
"When you talk about project, there are many test involved, Like this
International donor that comes in government for program are democile in the ministry, when they come we make sure there plan are included in the budget, them will give the ministry their plan for the year how to run it, and we in the ministry will check if it's a good plan or program for the state"
"That all the arms of government at MDA are being representing very well, I will guard the government of the day and if for implemention of the budget, I will make sure it implement very well
"I will make sure that Ebonyi Government did not make mistake of their budget of each year"
"So when you bring your budget, when the people or other state sees your budget, they will know someone posted there knows what they are doing, because it's our duty in the ministry , we plan ahead any resources bring in the state" Okah said.
