The Nigerian state and its leadership have gone beyond sectorial interest to incorporate issues that address the generic challenges bedeviling the nation.
This can be achieved through the instrumentality of the right leaders at the helm of affairs. Leadership is measured with several parameters including but not limited to; intelligence, decisive actions, transparency, integrity, resilience, antecedents, and more. The forthcoming by-election of the Nigerian 10th National Assembly is a time to take the bull by the horn and institute leaders that forgo personal aggrandizement over public goals.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Comrade Igboke Blessing Chielozonam who illustrated that opinions and calls by many government and non-governmental organizations, pressure groups, and more have continued to trail the media stressing that the position of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives should be zoned to the Southeast and Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON who represents Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly be supported to clinch the revered position. I see the call to support Hon. Ogah as a call to unity, national development, human capacity building, promotion of fundamental human rights, and other extant laws of the country.
According to Chielozonam , she explained that an ardent promoter of good governance, development, peace, and unity, the Nigerian State should shop for equity, credibility, antecedents et cetra at this time and I stand to solicit support for Hon. Ogah, a man that has distinguished himself beyond circular politics, a man that his positive records of accomplishments are encouraging, a unifier who has transformed his constituency within the space of time.

Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, OON should be the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria"
She noted that the revered Deputy Speakership of the House of Representatives needs the character of Hon. Ogah based on the following positions:
Equity; Nigeria is made up of six (6) geopolitical zones and in resource and political offices allocation, all the zones are inculcated. Southeast should be zoned the position of Deputy Speaker and to balance the pendulum of zoning and equitable distribution of power, Ebonyi state should be given a chance to produce the next Deputy Speaker with Hon. Ogah as the most qualified.
Empowerment: before his swearing-in to office as a House of Representatives member, Hon. Ogah had employed over three hundred (300) people into various Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, this was due to his firm resolve to alleviate his people of poverty. Today, he has facilitated the employment of over 1,000 employees into different Federal agencies and Parastatals. Many are still in the federal government's National Directorate of Employees, NDE program, and he has attracted other life-changing programs like direct cash transfer, skill acquisition, and more. He has distributed commercial vehicles, and tricycles, established businesses for indigent persons, and resuscitated many cooperative societies through funding.
Infrastructure: if anyone should be addressed as Mr. Project, that person is Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON. Within the time he has spent in the National Assembly, he has constructed bridges in various locations, constructed a five thousand capacity ultra-modern civic center in Ikwo and Ezza South, constructed six classroom blocks in over 25 public schools within and outside his constituency, installed mini solar grid panel which generates electricity in many communities, constructed roads with concrete technology running in kilometers, installed street light in many locations, constructed over 50 motorized boreholes, distributed and installed over 35 pieces of 300KVA transformers and too numerous to mention.
Education: Hon. Ogah has been promoting education even when not holding any political office. He has paid tuition fees for Law Students irrespective of their constituencies, he has been embarking on WAEC and NECO registration for over 6 thousand students drawn from Ikwo/Ezza South for the past 15 years, and over 300 students currently under his scholarship scheme with many of them studying abroad. He has touched all sectors of human life, this is why each time he declares interest in any position, he is returned unopposed.
Political party; Rt. Hon. Ogah has been described as a political party of it's by some people, this is owing to his political pedigree and influence in Ebonyi politics and Nigeria at large. Hon. Ogah was in 2019 the only candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ebonyi State who was elected into the National Assembly due to the love his people have for him. The State was a PDP state. Not only did he win, but he also won by a high margin. It was only in his Constituency (Ikwo/Ezza South) that President Mohammadu Buhari won in Ebonyi State in the 2019 general election. His scorecards within the feeble moment in the House made him the only candidate that stood primary election without an opponent in the 2022 primaries of the APC, in the general election, he won all 31 electoral wards of his constituency, giving the President-elect, H.E Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Ebonyi State Governor-elect, and other candidates of the APC a maximum vote. This is the due reflection of who a selfless leader should be, a leader that puts his people first, a leader that discomforts himself to accommodate his people.
Meanwhile, she noted that leadership of the National Assembly needs the likes of Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah for sustained development. Before his electioneering journey, there was no APC in Ebonyi state but today, he has not just made the party grounded in the state, every household sings the praises of the party. Today, Ebonyi is an APC state, the outgoing and the incoming governors are all in APC, the three senatorial zones now have senators-elect under APC, House of Rep. members-elect, and State House of Assembly members-elect are all in APC under the instrumentality and superintendent of the man, Hon. Ogah.
"It is therefore my request that the National Working Committee of the APC zone Deputy Speaker to Southeast so that a man with impeccable character, a man of great wits and wisdom, a doyen, a peacemaker, a lover of democracy, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON would contribute to transforming Nigeria as he did in his constituency." She Said
