She says her fiancé accused her of making his barber too comfortable after she offered him food while waiting for him, leading to a serious argument and her leaving the house for days.
“My fiancé’s personal barber usually comes to the house to cut his hair, but before we got engaged..I never knew who he was until I started living with my fiancé a few months ago while we planned our wedding.
The last time he came, I was surprised to realise that he was my senior course mate and someone I knew from school. We exchanged pleasantries and that was it.
My fiancé knew we had attended the same school, and I told him we were friends back then, although we weren’t very close..just the same department.
During my fiancé’s birthday, the barber came in the morning to cut his hair and was later invited to the birthday party that evening. I greeted him like everyone else and offered him a drink.
Last week, he came again to give my fiancé a haircut. My fiancé wasn’t home yet, I called him and he said he was aware but stuck in the traffic..so I let him wait in the parlour while I continued cooking.
When I was done, I casually asked if he wanted to eat. You know that question we ask visitors expecting them to say no?. But this guy said, “Yes ooh, I dey my oga house nau. Bring the food while I wait for him.”
I said no problem, served him some rice, stew and juice, and went to tidy the kitchen. Less than five minutes later, my fiancé came home. They greeted each other, and he went upstairs to change.
The next thing he asked me was, “Babe, when did this one start?” I was confused and asked him what he meant. He said, “So you now comfortably serve strangers food in this house in my absence?”
I explained exactly what happened, but he just said okay and went downstairs to cut his hair.
I thought the matter had ended until later that night when he brought it up again. He said I was making the guy too comfortable in his house and accused me of having something to do with him.
I was shocked. I tried explaining myself again, but he wasn’t listening. We ended up sleeping without speaking to each other.
The next day, I left his house..and it’s been over four days now. He hasn’t called or picked any of my calls. I even went to his house, but he wasn’t around.
Honestly, I don’t even understand what crim£ I committed… “ - A Nigerian lady has cried out after her fiancé allegedly acc¥sed her of making his personal barber too comfortable in their home by serving him food in his absence.
