VeryDarkMan has called on Blessing CEO to reflect on her past actions and rebuild public trust, following reports of her detention and the tragic loss of her son.

Popular social media critic and activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly addressed controversial relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, following reports of her detention and the loss of her son.
In a video statement released on Saturday, September 26, 2026, VeryDarkMan said Okoro needs to undergo deep reflection, stating that her current legal and personal struggles have gone beyond ordinary issues.
"I hope when you come out of detention, you can retrace your steps. Your problems have gone beyond normal; it has become a character issue and a spiritual issue that you need to fix," he stated.
The activist linked her present situation to her history of online controversies, including her recent heavily criticized claim of battling stage 4 cancer, which many Nigerians doubted.
He noted that her past actions have eroded public trust to the point that people are finding it difficult to sympathize with her even in the face of genuine tragedy.
"You have played with the intelligence of the public so much that now that something genuinely devastating has happened, people are finding it hard to believe you or show empathy. They think it's another stunt," he said.
VeryDarkMan further argued that her brand began to decline after she involved herself in the marital crisis of businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, and his late wife Bimbo.
"The moment you got involved in that IVD situation and began carrying another person's cross, that was when your character and brand began to crumble," he added.
He concluded by advising the relationship expert to seek spiritual cleansing and completely overhaul her approach to social media upon her release from detention.
