A controversial donation by an RCCG pastor to the Federal Government has sparked debate over whether church funds should support government operations instead of helping vulnerable and persecuted Christians.
"The RCCG pastor literally gave $265,000 as a donation to the Federal Government. Is that the role of the church? To fund the operations of the government?
To take tithes from people who are frying Akara on the street, people living in extreme p0v£rty, and then take that money to give to the government?
The same government that isn't even protecting the Christians across Nigeria. Their villages have been b&rn£d, people have been k!ll&d, and families have been left without homes.
You could have built 600 homes for the p&rs&cut£d. I ask you, RCCG, how many villages have you helped rebuild in Nigeria? Zero. But instead, you chose to give the money to the Federal Government.
And then you go and take the hard-earned money of your fellow workers in Christ, people who are sl@ving to bring money to your table, to your church, and you then give that money to the government.
It's not a surprise that it's RCCG that does this. The same RCCG that lobbies and stands with the government as they allow their people to be k!!l£d.
The church is supposed to be the light. The church is supposed to stand with the forsaken, the p&rs&cut£d and affl!ct£d.
Instead, you're taking money from the very people who need help and giving it to the government. It's sh@m£ful.
