Veteran Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah has said his decision to keep his personal life away from the public is intentional.
Speaking in a recent interview with E!plash, Nouah was asked why little is known about his private life and if the low profile was deliberate.
Responding, the actor said: "It is, kind of. I'm able to work better with just being in the low, in the background than upfront. I feel safer in that lane. If I have a work or a job, I'll promote the job. It is not about promoting myself, it is about the work. That's why I am here to talk about the character I play, Tornado."
According to him, he has already given the public enough through his work and his career should be what defines him, not his personal affairs.
The actor, who has been in the industry for over two decades, noted that audiences have watched him act, seen his characters and followed his performances, and that should be enough to identify him as a performer.
Noua added that while some celebrities thrive on making their personal lives part of their brand, he prefers to be visible through his craft without being completely accessible.
