A love letter, a fake rejection and 10 years of misunderstanding—Idowu allegedly changed “YES” to “NO”!
"During my secondary school days, I wrote a love letter to a girl in the junior class through one of her classmates. The guy was actually the one who gingered me to write it ooo.
After writing the letter, I handed it over to him because he happened to be my friend, and I asked him to help me give it to her.
After a week, I asked him what the outcome of my letter was. Initially, he said she hadn’t responded, but when I kept pestering him, one day while we were going home from school, he finally told me that the girl said she wasn’t interested.
I sha heard it and moved on. Fast-forward 10 years later, the girl and I connected on Facebook. While we were gisting and catching up, I asked her why she didn’t accept my proposal back in secondary school.
She responded in shock and said, “I told you yes now. In my head, I was like, “How?.
She then explained that she told the guy to tell me YES. Meanwhile, this guy came to tell me NO.
It now made sense why I used to wonder why this babe and her friends would always laugh whenever they saw me. Anyway, God will Pvnish Idowu wherever he is today"
