ABS Managing Director Chris Molokwu has allegedly warned staff against making social media comments perceived as taking sides in the ongoing political disagreement involving former Governor Peter Obi and Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Good day everyone, it has come to my knowledge that quite a number of us are taking sides on the current political crisis between the governor and the former Governor.
Let it be clear we work for the current government and so statements on your personal social media pages, Facebook, Instagram, tiktok. Whatever the messages you write concerning the first family and the former Governor of the state would be read as insubordination remember who pays your salary? It is not your job to take sides especially at this time.
Some names have been sent to me and I have gone through your Facebook pages and yes I have found some not so good comments about the government of the day. This is sacreligious as you are biting the finger that is feeding you. You cannot speak against the government of the day and still be paid salary by the same government. This is the last time I will talk about this issue. Be warned. Take dressing and repent as public officers.
All social media accounts are being investigated so be mindful. Let your case not become "had I know". Respond with a once you've read and understood this message.

Managing Director, Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).
