A woman who secretly gave birth to her daughter and left her to be found says she is now devastated after seven years of marriage without a child. She believes her abandoned daughter may be about 16 and is desperately seeking a way to find her.
"I got pregnant for my boyfriend in 300 level, but having strict parents, I couldn't keep it.I had jokingly told my mum about the pregnancy, but all h£l was l00se.
So I had to quickly tell her it was a prank.I reached out to my best friend, and we started planning an ab0rtion.She got me a couple of pills, but the pregnancy was still intact.
Scared for my life. I decided to keep it.I traveled home briefly and even faked a period to deceive my mum.
Due to the nature of my course, we spent more time in school and hardly went home during breaks. So, I stayed back for 9 months of the pregnancy.
My friend took me to her old family house in Osogbo, and that was where I delivered my baby with the help of a nurse she got me.
I knew I couldn't manage my academics with a baby after lying to my mum, so I decided it was better to give my baby away.
I wrapped her safely, dropped her where she could be easily found, and fled back to school. I and my bestie told my boyfriend the baby was a stillb#rth, and we all moved on.
Thankfully, I graduated with good grades, married my boyfriend, and left everything behind.
The problem now is, we have been married for 7 years with no child. Every medical test came back the same. “You're both fine”.
