Peter Obi says his lawsuit against Kenneth Onitiri is not over alleged defamation but to compel him to substantiate public claims that he possesses evidence of Obi's alleged wrongdoing. The case follows Onitiri's repeated assertions that he would expose Obi, with the court proceedings now underway.
Kenneth Nwansukka (Onitiri) stated that he never expected Peter Obi to sùè him after everything he claimed to have done for him.
But here is the thing, Peter Obi said he did not sùè Kenneth Onitiri because he spoke ìll of him or even ďèfàmed him. Not at all. Obi said he sùèd Kenneth because Kenneth publicly told Nigerians that he had evidence of Obi's èvìl deeds.
Obi's position is that if he remained silent, people might believe Kenneth truly had ďàmaģing evidence that Obi was trying to suppress. Knowing he has nothing to hide, Obi approached the court and challenged Kenneth to produce the evidence and tell the world the alleged evil things he claims Obi has done.
Funny enough, since the day Mr. Onitiri was sùèd, he has been hìding to avoid being served with the court processes. He only came out to speak on Channels Television after the court granted an order for him to be served through substituted means, meaning he could no longer avoid service of the court documents.
Let the world know that Obi is not sùìng Kenneth because he ďèfamed him, but because Kenneth claimed he had evidence of Obi's wrongdoing.
Kenneth also said he would reveal those things if Obi þŕòvokes him. Well, Obi did not wait to þŕòvoke him, instead, he asked him to either present the evidence before the court and the public or face the legal consequences of the sùìt, including the ₦8 billion claim, which which we know that Kenneth may not be able to satisfy. If he cannot substantiate his claims before the court, the law will take its course.
He will be sent to ķùje to live fully in ßòñdàge.
