Reports reaching us allege that Mr. Chukwuma Anosirike today demolished the only house belonging to his late elder brother in Owerri, after reportedly selling the property for over ₦100 million, leaving the widow and her children displaced.
It was further alleged that the building also accommodated a small maternity business operated by the widow, which served as her primary source of income.
According to the report, a humanitarian foundation had previously intervened last year to stop the demolition. However, the demolition reportedly went ahead today with the support of security operatives.
