The USA has deployed the US army to Nigeria to combat the ISIS. There have been many attacks recently to the Christian communities. And America doesn't want to take any chances,they want to protect the Christians in Nigeria by all cost.
The question is has Nigeria government approved this move? Anyway the US troops are already on ground whether the Nigeria government approved it or not.
