Harrison Gwamnishu’s open display of his anti-crime efforts raises tough questions about safety, secrecy, and Nigeria’s troubling culture of “anyhowness.”
How on earth will an ordinary citizen be helping government in combating crime and still be putting his face out there?
Harrison Gwamnishu is aclaimed to be tracking crime syndicates, yet he made posts, videos, to show his face. Is he daring the criminal elements that nothing can happen to him?
When I see this picture (attached below), i was so sad and angry, does this mean we don't have tech guys in the forces that can read the trackers, instead of him leading the rescue missions?
I don't want to get involved in his current predicament, because it is self-inflicted and am not surprised, because that sums up the reason for his posts.
I remember in the early 90's around Ayobo, there is one man living at Amule (Name withheld as a respect for the family), that usually combat criminals terrorising the community.
One terrible day, the criminals gangs up and make sure to unalive him overnight. It was indeed a sad day in the entire community.
That was in the time when there is no social media platforms and the man doesn't boast of his numerous achievement like this guy.
