The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, has arrived in Kebbi State and issued a strong directive to troops to intensify the search for the schoolgirls kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga.
Gen. Shaibu ordered soldiers to use solid intelligence and maintain relentless pursuit of the kidnappers both day and night.
He also met with local vigilantes and hunters, urging collaboration and leveraging their knowledge of the local terrain to aid the rescue operation.
During his visit, the Army Chief met with the Traditional Ruler of Danko and the school principal, reassuring them that the safe return of the girls remains the military’s top priority.
