I noticed that many film makers who produced films with Ụzọ Arụkwe are releasing them this period and none is scalling less than millions.
Even the previous films he acted, the producers are ensuring they came up again. Ụzọ's face is a goldmine.
Nigerians and those outside Nigeria are on rampage, searching for any film with the face of Ụzọ Arụkwe.
That's what being the best in your game means. Ụzọ has been acting. He has been consistent in his character. He's unique and naturally an actor. It seems it's now the world is ready for him.
That's power of consistency, and putting efforts in perfecting one's craft. You will be announced one day.
I was watching his interview when he mentioned being sacked from Etisalat where he was working. Ụzọ was in a corporate world. Perhaps, it could be for many reasons. He never knew he would be this big as an actor until that very job got off his grip.
This is part of what I preach: there is no single route to make a living or become comfortable in the sense of it— economically. Explore your talents. Research yourself. Everyone is good. You are good at something.
That job you are putting all your hope on may disappoint you. One may get sacked like Ụzọ. But did he stay on the ground? No! He researched himself and found another skill yet to be harnessed. He himself is a brand that doesn't require advertisement or application for job.
Today, everyone knows him. He's a hot cake. Every film maker wants to have him. His face alone sells a movie. From being sacked from Etisalat where he worked for more than 10 years in office to becoming a big star.
Did he study acting in the university? No! He was in a corporate world.
What I learned from his story is that sometimes, we may be in a wrong place thinking it's a right place. We may be the ones holding ourselves back from the world knowing us. Always be ready to use your God-given talents to better yourself. Everyone is gifted. Our problem is that we want to be like others, and not ourselves.
Find what you are good at and dié with it.
Know This And know Peace
