I wasn't a huge fan of Dee-One initially, but after watching his interview with Naija FM, my appreciation for him grew. I started following him and realized he's fighting for a good cause.
When asked about his feud with Verydarkblackman, he explained that he wasn't attacking the good works he is doing, but rather trying to correct his person. He pointed out that VDM fans, known as Ratels, had put him on a pedestal, making him feel infallible, which is a dangerous mentality.
He also addressed the controversy surrounding his allegations VDM ; and when asked to provide evidence, he shared it with the presenter but explained why he couldn't make it public. He revealed that the evidence involves another person who would be unfairly affected if it were released. He emphasized that his goal is to correct and educate VDM, not to bring him down, which is a commendable reason for keeping the evidence private.
I'm starting to admire the cause Dee one is fighting for and he made it clear that he has no personal vendetta against VDM, but rather wants to correct him and change the perception of his fans, the Rattels, who have put him on a pedestal and made him feel infallible.
And if this is actually what Dee-One really stands for, I think he is not doing bad.
