“When I first got into music, I thought it was all about singing, dancing and living the celebrity lifestyle.
I never for once thought the industry was deep and e—vil. After my first official single "Don't Break my heart" which was released under a contract I signed with Jude Engees (P-SQUARE's elder brother) which was an instant hit, I was going to shows and money was coming in regularly, I went ahead to release a couple of songs to cement my footsteps but it wasn't long until my world came crashing down. There was a misunderstanding and I opted to leave my label not knowing I was going to loose everything in a blink of an eye.
When my contract was cancelled, I lost control of all my songs, my YouTube channel, my streaming platform accounts and my money.
It was then I knew the contract I signed was like giving away all my achievements, I was only left with my voice to sing and nothing else, depression also took over I was not even allowed to use my name Cynthia Morgan again, my own birth name so I switched to Madrina.” Madrina (Cynthia Morgan)
