When an artiste is paid $1-million abroad, he can never end up with anything more than $200k. Just to be able to sell out a $1-million show, you'll need to spend about $500k on PR.
Then inside the remaining $500k, your label is gonna take their percentage which is usually atleast 60% and if you're signed to multiple labels, it'll be 80% or even 90%. So don't be surprised that your favourites who brãg of making $100-million in a year don't make up to $5-million in a year.
