Akpimmuo, as he fondly calls himself was allegedly born to veteran musician, Theresa Onuorah and late musician and traditionalist, Pericoma.
Theresa Onuorah which everyone knows has been famous for years even before her verse in the song ‘Egedege’ which featured Larry Gaga, Flavour, Phyno, and Pete Edochie in 2021 rejuvenated her.
She is a musician, and dancer and is popularly referred to as an ezenwanyi, a word meaning traditional priestess in Igbo language.
She hails from Unubi in Nnewi South and was born on January 9, 1942. After her relationship with Pericoma, Mrs. Theresa got married to Godwin Igboebisi and they have other children together.
Pericoma, born Damian Azubuike Nwankwo Okoye was a traditionalist and musician. He hails from Okigwe and was born in 1948. Pericoma had children from various women and was never married to Speed Darlington’s mother.
Some said Theresa isn’t Akpi’s mum, that his mum is queen Achakpo from Awo idemili.
