I tell people this story to this day.. there are two people I have done a song with and made me go "wow". One is Buju and the other is Kefee.
It will amaze you how we made our hit song KOKOROKO.
We were in the studio together and I was about to head to the airport, she held my hand and said, 'Timaya just wait. Let me record my own part'. I told her, 'Kefee, na now you want make we do this thing? I get flight to catch o'.
Kefee just entered the studio and started recording. When they played what she recorded to me, I no go lie you I had to cancel my flight.
That was how we made our hit KOKOROKO. D@mn, Kefee can sing. I miss her to this day. God rest her soul"
