Wizkid tried to feature the biggest African artist currently, the GRAMMY and 2x BET Awards winner TYLA and his record label RCA proposed 2 million dollars to Tyla but Tyla rejected the money after hearing the song Wizkid sent her to be featured in because of low creativity.
Wizkid did not get mad at Tyla's decision, in his words he said:
"Tyla is the South African Queen and the biggest African artist right now and her blow up is something Africa has never seen before. She just took the bar of blowing up higher and I love her beautiful amazing album.
Her fusion of Amapiano and R&B is unmatched. She didn't actually reject my feature request she just gave me another chance to work with her on something better and she did it politely.
I still want to work with her and I'll work hard on another song since she did not like the one I sent, you don't just wake up and feature Tyla even if she knows and loves your work, so if it happens is a blessing. She's a queen and if we have to give her 3 million dollars we would. I hope she'll be in my album Morayo and it might not drop until we got Tyla in the album
