The Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. Nweze David Umahi has commended the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for sustaining democratic governance in the State's Local Government System.
Umahi made this commendation after voting at his polling unit- 013 Onuofukwuru Market,Umunaga Ward, Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, in the 2024 Local Government Chairmanship and Councilloship Election held on Saturday, 20th July 2024. Sen.

Umahi expressed confidence that the Chairmanship and Councilloship candidates of APC in the State would cruise to victory having regard to the governance records of the State Governor, which has endeared his government to the people of the State.
He urged Nigerians to continue to support the Renewed Hope agenda of administration of His Excellency President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu , who came on board at the most challenging moment of Nigeria's history, and who is determined to creating lasting infrastructure for economic advancement.
The Honourable Minister expressed his commitment to the Renewed Hope administration's vision of revolutionizing road infrastructure for economic prosperity.
