Minister of women affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye has called on university lecturers to report any students who attempt to offer se£xúal favors in exchange for grades.
This call to action was part of the launch of new signage initiatives designed to combat s£xúal abúse, büllyíng, and hospital negligence in various institutions such as hotels, schools, and hospitals.
In addition to this appeal, the Minister introduced several important guidelines aimed at enhancing safety and reducing misconduct in schools, hospitals, and hotels. These guidelines include:
1. Ensuring that a teacher is present in every primary and secondary classroom.
2. Assigning four teachers on duty to supervise children during outdoor breaks.
3. Installing CCTV cameras around school premises to monitor activities and enhance security.
These measures are part of a broader effort to create safer and more supportive environments for children and vulnerable individuals, addressing critical issues such as s£xúal hærassment and büllyíng.
The Minister's initiatives reflect a commitment to improving institutional accountability and safeguarding the well-being of all citizens.
