Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South East Barr. Mrs Chioma Nweze has congratulated Nigerian as celebrate 25 years democracy day while urges Nigerians to stand united in love no matter the geographical and political differences in order to attain the progress desires
In a Democracy Day Message signed by Barr. Mrs Chioma Nweze, she noted that 25 years of democracy become all too aware of how transient power is and that we the people are the only constant factor in the democratic equation.
According to Nweze disclosed "On this year's democracy anniversary, I wish to join the chorus of voices within and outside Nigeria in commemorating and congratulating our country as it twinkles into 25 full years of uninterrupted representative democratic governance and political stability.
"As we herald this historic turning point, we are all very familiar with the story of June 12. It is and will remain a watershed in Nigeria's democratic memoirs and an indispensable propeller of our journey."
Nweze also felicitate with the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu on clocking one year on the saddle. While also salute the governors of the South East Rt Hon Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF, and incumbent Minister of Works Senator David Umahi, stated they are is political family in all Progressives Congress and fellow Nigerians at large.
"I am glad that despite the difficulties of all kinds on all fronts, Nigeria remains characterised by its great capacity for resilience"
"Truly, we have in the course of this 25 years of democracy become all too aware of how transient power is and that we the people are the only constant factor in the democratic equation.
This behoves on us a responsibility to purge ourselves of dialectical, geographical and political differences and to stand united in love in order to attain the sustained growth and progress we desire"
