Growing up in Ghana and being recognized and paid by a Jamaican artist to collaborate on a dancehall track is no small feat. It means only one thing: Shatta Wale is exceptional. If he was already this significant six years ago, his decade-long reign as a dancehall king is all the more impressive.
Perhaps that’s why some can’t help but dislike him—being an undisputed dancehall champion for so long is simply unmatched.
Growing up in Ghana and getting paid by an artiste born and raised in Jamaica to jump on a dancehall song is not EASY. It only means one thing , YOU ARE THAT GOOD.
If 6 years ago Shatta was already this big what more of now ? Man been reigning for a decade and more now.
