Abuja's club scene witnessed an unexpected twist as Timaya's performance took a divine turn, leaving the audience torn between groove and gospel. Amidst the uproar, the club owner now seeks recompense for the unexpected spiritual shift that emptied his venue.
A Club owner in Abuja has called out Timaya to refund the 20 Million Naira he was paid to come perform at the club.
Timaya pulled up quite alright but while on stage, the “Holy Spirit” took over him and he began singing gospel songs. When he started with the first gospel song everyone sang along coz they thought he was just catching cruise… not until Timaya tuned in the 2nd and 3rd gospel tracks.
Given the environment and the type of activities people do in clubs, many of those present started leaving the club as they felt uncomfortable.
The Club owner says he invited Timaya to pull more customers and sell his expensive drinks but “Pastor Timaya” chased everyone away. He is asking for a refund!
