My mom's immediate younger brother is extremely wealthy. He is a big business man, he sells building materials.
He has about 20 warehouses and 30 delivery trucks nation wide. I finished university two years ago and no job.
So I went to this my uncle and started helping him in one of his sales outlets to help him sell materials.
Normally he pays me well and take good care of me. After two years, base on the fact that I am a man, I decided to start up something on my own because obi cannot be a boy forever. And this my uncle used to advice us his relatives to be enterprising and industrious.
I went to meet my uncle and told him I want to start cement business, start up capital required is 10m.
My plan is to buy half truck of cement with 4m or thereabouts, use about 5m to buy a mini-truck for cement supply to customers and use the remaining 1m to pay at least one year rent for shop and my personal accommodation.
After explaining everything to my rich uncle, he gave me only 2.5m. He said I should start with 100 bags of cement, buy a new bike for supply and use the remaining money to pay for shop and house rent.
He said when he started his own business 20 years ago he started small in a local shop.
I collected the money but I wasn't happy. My reason is that this my uncle is a billionaire, 10m means nothing to him.
He should have given me the full amount so that I will start my business the way I planned it.
Must everybody start small. Must I start my business small be because he started his own small. Since the money is there why can't he just give to me.

If he could do that for strangers , why can't he give me his own blood relative something reasonable to start my own business so that I can stand properly and stop depending on him.
