Kilian Fulie, born on October 14, 1990, in Bamenda-Bambui, Cameroon, is an international afrobeat/Afropop artist known as Kiflex. Growing up in the small town of Bambui, Kilian had a challenging childhood but always held onto his dream of traveling abroad and creating a better life for himself and his family.
Despite facing obstacles, Kilian excelled academically and earned a scholarship that took him through primary school.
At the age of 7, Kilian had the vision of becoming a professional basketball player, but a major knee injury in 2012 ended that dream. However, he didn't let setbacks define him and instead focused on self-improvement and personal growth. Kilian worked various jobs, including in stone pits, bricklaying, and selling food items, to support himself.
Kilian's dedication and hard work led him to pursue higher education at CCAST Bambili and later at the National Polytechnic Bamenda in Cameroon. He then expanded his
horizons by attending ATHENA Career Academy in Toledo, Ohio, and Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois.
Apart from his academic pursuits, Kilian is a proud father and finds immense joy and fulfillment in parenthood. He strives to
be a mentor, guardian, and positive role model for his children.
Kiflex, a combination of Kilian's first name and the word "flex" representing flexibility, is Kilian's stage name as an afrobeat/afropop artist. He has collaborated with artists from around the world and has been recognized with multiple awards and nominations for his talent.
Through determination, resilience, and a strong belief in himself and his faith, Kilian Fulie, aka Kiflex, continues to make his mark in the music industry and inspire others with his journey.
